PMP certification is one of the most prestigious certifications in the world awarded to the Project Managers for their knowledge about global best practices in the field of Project Management. Decide a Time Frame for clearing the examination and get involved in advanced preparation or vigorous studies 6 months in advance. Spend at least 7-8 hours a day in revision or at least 4-5 hours dedicatedly if you are a working professional and preparing for PMP examination.
Study thoroughly Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) book thoroughly as this is considered as the Bible by the PMP professionals. The book details all the guidelines, best practices, concepts and course materials required for preparing for the examination. Sample question papers can also be downloaded from the internet and the candidates can also appear mock tests for assessing their readiness for the examination.
Enrol for an Online Course or Register for a Regular Course: This will prepare the candidates regarding the recent developments in the field of Project Management, will make the aspirants conceptually thorough and enhance their knowledge about the global best practices. Moreover, this also fulfils the criterion of networking with the industry professionals and help in gaining extra Professional Development Units (PDUs) which is an essential pre-requisite for the examination.
